When it comes to metal, death metal is generally what separates the boys and men from the metalheads. People easily get turned away from the deep growling vocals that commonly accompany it. Underneath, though, lies much more. Down-tuned, heavily distorted instruments, technical instrumentation and solos galore are just a few of the traits found in death metal.
