Aliotta-Haynes-Jeremiah

A Chicago based Trio consisting of bassist Mitch Aliotta, pianist John Jeremiah and guitarist Skip Haynes (and on the debut drummer Ted Aliotta). They had a moderate hit in 1971 with Lake Shore Drive. The song was a tribute to the famous lakefront road in Chicago, but its initials L.S.D. make the song have a double meaning. The album of the same name celebrated it's 25th Anniversary in 1996. There songs go from soft and gentle (For Eddy, Snow Queen), to loud and fast (Lake Shore Drive, Midnight Plane to Nairobi), to just silly (Uppers and Downers, Beam Me Up Scotty). Enjoy the sounds of Chicago area Rock.
