Instead of focusing on punk's trifecta - The Clash, The Sex Pistols, and The Ramones - I chose to spotlight bands that aren't so well-known. While first wave bands like The Jam and The Pretenders are represented, New Wave (punks not so distant cousin), post-punk, and hardcore are included to show the many facets of punk rock.
